Evault and Microsoft Azure Cloud platform – an unbeatable partnership

Two is better than one and that has been proved to be true after a glorious year of partnership which was established last year between Seagate Evault and Microsoft Azure Cloud platform.  The backup and recovery services of Evault have strengthened the Microsoft Azure platform to provide users an invincible working experience.  In fact, all of Evault’s backup, security and recovery solutions have been available with Microsoft Azure ever since the partnership.  As Evault also provides laptop recovery and security services, it can give remote file deletion and even trace the device if the laptop gets stolen.  Now that is what every Microsoft user has been looking out for.

The partnership is still going on strong with Microsoft now announces that every customer who goes in for Azure will get a year’s Evault solution for endpoint devices absolutely free. This unique partnership is working up a great profit as more and more users are finding that it gives them better flexibility and improved capacity to lessen risks associated with endpoint data protection.  Hence, companies are opting to use their services as it gives them less chance of losing data and increases corporate data invisibility.  However, this is a limited period offer and the wise early bird gets to benefit immensely.

The partnership does not just end here as we can see in the “Project Mountain” based in Iowa in which Microsoft has put in nearly $700 million. Evault, on the other hand, is seen expanding throughout Latin America, Europe and Asia Pacific and this growth is obviously due to its Microsoft alliance.  Customers are delighted with the hybrid storage, multisite and multiplatform environments, which is supported by the cloud platform.  Another fantastic piece of news is that developers can build applications which extend from cloud to an enterprise data center when they use Azure.  Moreover, Microsoft cloud offers application development with storage, computing and networking infrastructure which can be hosted on its servers.

This will surely not be the latest venture of these two giants and it will be prudent to keep an eye out for more exciting offers and products from them.
